The
color wheel is a complete picture of all the colors available and it shows
the relationship between them. Understanding the color wheel will greatly
help in generating any color scheme. A color wheel has the following
categories of colors:
-
Three
primary colors (red, blue, yellow),
-
Three
secondary colors that are the result of mixing primary colors (purple,
orange, green)
-
Tertiary
colors, which are a primary color mixed with a secondary color such
as, red-orange, yellow-green and blue-violet.
