Quality Guidelines |
| Stringent guidelines are adhered to in our workroom. The following is a
sampling of just a few of our quality control requirements: |
- Complete inspecting of the fabric
for flaws
- straight seams surged
with no puckering

tops of all
printed draperies in the same room must match and be straight
-
any
shapes or scallops must be uniform in size and stitched evenly
-
all spaces
between pinch pleats equal
-
all stripes and plaids
straight and centered
-
swags cut on the bias
if possible
- drapery panels have approximately double 1½” side hem and
double 4 to 6" hem at the bottom
- lining must not be stitched to the face
fabric
- use of chain stabilizer to stabilize
the pleats where needed
- face fabric hems should be blind
stitched or hand-hemmed
- use of matching
threads
- drapery fullness at least 2½ times the finished
width
- weights used at the corners and in the seams as
needed
- panel length straight and even across the bottom

| All
the material we use in our window treatment are high quality We use
dual cotton thread, stainless steel pins, heavy buckram where
buckram is needed

| Lining
& Interlining |
| Lining and interlining is one of the most important part of a window
treatment. We use only Premium Sateen 100% Cotton Lining in our window
treatments. It gives a softer appearance to the panels Interlining is a soft, 100% cotton flannel material that is placed
between the fabric and the lining. In addition, interlining
gives additional protection against fading from sunlight and provides a
degree of insulation in winter
